The Rev. Becca Seely
Director of The Vine NYC

Becca Seely is the executive director of The Vine NYC campus ministry network and its parent organization, Lutheran Ministries in Higher Education. She was not raised in church and first began to explore questions of faith when she was in college. As a result, she is particularly passionate about working with young adults who are asking questions about God and what gives our lives meaning and purpose. Becca loves hearing people's stories, learning new things and discovering the unexpected ways God is working in the world around us. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exploring the outdoors, hanging out with her wife and two young kids, and planning elaborate theme parties. Becca graduated from Yale Divinity School in 2012 with a Master of Divinity and also holds a Certificate in Advanced Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. She is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Currently, she serves students directly as co-pastor of LaMP, pastor of PRiSM, and as a religious/spiritual life advisor on campus at Columbia and NYU. Email Pastor Becca at [email protected].

Ekama Eni
Co-Pastor for LaMP
Pronouns: she/hers/her
Ekama Eni is the co-pastor of LaMP, The Vine's ministry branch in Uptown Manhattan. She is a twin, a proud immigrant, a lover of music and above all else a voracious giggler. A cradle Presbyterian, Ekama currently serves as the pastor for Youth and College Ministries at St. Paul and St. Andrew United Methodist Church, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Ekama loves working with young people, especially, as they grow and explore in their faith but also enjoys eating snacks and dancing in church with whoever will join her. In her free time Ekama enjoys traveling with her family, eating with/cooking for people she loves, taking naps and answering all your nerdy pop culture and trivia questions. Ekama graduated with her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and also has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas. Ekama is currently pursuing ordination in the Presbyterian Church(USA).
Bethany Day
Seminary Intern

Bethany is an intern with The Vine NYC, working primarily with PRiSM and our citywide programs . While living and going to school in Jerusalem Bethany discovered her passion for exploring faith, spirituality, and meaning with young adults from diverse backgrounds and faith experiences. This led her to pursue a Master of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary with a concentration in interreligious engagement. In her free time, she likes playing cooperative board games, hiking, and cooking Mediterranean-inspired food to share with friends. She holds a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Arts from Westmont College. After completing her degree at Union Theological Seminary, she hopes to continue working with college students as a college chaplain.
